Many bedsheets are labelled in centimetres — 230 x 250 cm is the same as about 91 x 98 inches, the most common double-bed sheet size in India. Some brands label a very close size as 230 x 245 cm (about 91 x 96 inches); for a flat sheet the 5 cm difference makes no practical difference to the tuck-in. Both fit a standard Indian double bed and come with 2 matching pillow covers.

A flat bedsheet is a single sheet you tuck in on all four sides - more common in India and easier to fit slightly-off mattress sizes. A fitted bedsheet has elasticated corners that wrap around the mattress, giving a neater look but needing a closer size match to your exact mattress depth.
Wash new cotton bedsheets separately for the first couple of washes since dye can bleed slightly, use cold water, and avoid high heat when drying to keep the colours and print from fading quickly.
