Mittal Collections (sole proprietor: Geetika Mittal, Sector 3, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201012) runs www.mittalcollections.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it. Customers from anywhere in India can browse our website; orders and delivery are currently available only for eligible PIN codes in Uttar Pradesh.
What we collect
Account: name, email, mobile number and password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form), or your name, email and Google account ID if you sign in with Google. Registration codes sent by email are deleted automatically after they expire.
Orders: delivery name, phone, address and PIN code, items ordered, amounts, payment method and status. Online payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your card, UPI or net-banking details.
Messages, reviews and alerts: what you send through the Contact form, support tickets, product questions and return requests; your reviews, including any photos or videos (approved reviews are shown publicly with your account name); and your email if you ask for a back-in-stock alert or subscribe to our newsletter.
Website use: the pages you visit, a random visitor ID stored in your browser, your device type, and an approximate location (country, state, city) worked out from your IP address. Our visit records do not include your IP address. If you are signed in, these records are linked to your account and our authorised staff can see them. We also record site search terms (not linked to your account) and your cart and wishlist. To show local delivery information, your IP address may be sent to ip-api.com to estimate your city; we do not save the result.
Analytics and advertising: we use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. They receive the pages and products you view, cart and checkout steps and completed purchases (order number, items, value), along with browser details, and may use cookies. We do not send them your name, email or phone number. Google and Meta handle this information under their own privacy policies.
Why we use it
To manage your account; process, deliver and support orders, returns and refunds; check delivery to your PIN code; reply to messages and complaints; send order and account emails, back-in-stock alerts, price-drop alerts for items in your wishlist, review requests after delivery and (if subscribed) our newsletter; run loyalty points and referrals; improve the website and measure our advertising; and prevent fraud. One reminder email may be sent to logged-in customers if items are left in their cart.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with: Razorpay (payments), Brevo (emails), Cloudinary (images and review media), Google (sign-in and analytics), Meta (Pixel), Sentry (error monitoring), India Post (PIN code checks), ip-api.com (IP address, for approximate location), India Post Speed Post, Shadowfax and our local delivery staff (name, phone and address, to deliver your order), and our hosting providers Render, Vercel and MongoDB Atlas. We may also share information when required by law.
Cookies and browser storage
Your browser stores your sign-in session, cart, wishlist, language and similar preferences so the website works. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel may set their own cookies. You can clear these or block cookies in your browser settings; some features may then not work.
How long we keep it
Page visit and search records: 365 days. Saved cart: 90 days after the last change. Guest wishlist: 90 days. Back-in-stock alerts and website notifications: 365 days. Account details are kept while your account is active. Order and payment-related records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil orders, handle returns and disputes, maintain business records, and meet applicable legal requirements.
Your requests
You can update your profile and addresses in your account, and unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in its emails. To ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your personal information or account, email info@mittalcollections.com with the subject "Privacy Request" from your registered email. We will acknowledge and respond as promptly as reasonably possible. We may keep records we must retain by law, such as order and payment records.
