Loyalty Points Programme
1. Who can earn. Points are available to customers with a registered Mittal Collections account. In-store purchases earn points only when the purchase is recorded against the mobile number of a registered account.
2. Earning points. You earn 1 point for every ₹20 spent on products. Points are calculated on the product value after any coupon, bundle discount or loyalty-points discount. Delivery charges, cash-on-delivery (COD) charges and other non-product charges do not earn points. Any amount below ₹20 left over after this calculation does not earn a point.
3. Pending points (online orders). Points from an online order are shown as "pending" once the order is delivered. Pending points cannot be redeemed. They become available after the return period for every item in the order has ended and no return request for the order is still open. Points are then credited by our periodic processing, so the exact time they appear may vary. If the order is cancelled, or items are returned and refunded, before the points become available, the pending points are cancelled or reduced accordingly.
4. In-store purchases. Points for an eligible in-store purchase are credited when the sale is recorded. If our staff edit a recorded sale, the points earned on the original sale are reversed and points are credited again for the corrected sale. If a sale is voided or deleted, the points earned on it are reversed. There is no automated in-store returns process for points; in-store returns and corrections are handled by our staff through these sale adjustments. Points cannot be redeemed in store. For questions about an in-store return or a correction to an in-store purchase, please speak to our store team.
5. Redeeming points. Each point is worth ₹1 off an online order. You can redeem from 1 available point — there is no minimum balance. Points can pay for up to 10% of the order's product value after other discounts; they cannot be used against delivery or COD charges, and an order total cannot fall below ₹0. Pending and expired points cannot be redeemed. Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or combined between accounts.
6. Expiry. Each batch of points expires at 11:59 PM India Standard Time on the calendar day 365 days after the day it was credited. When you redeem, the points that expire soonest are used first. Points that are still unused at their expiry time expire; earning new points does not extend the expiry of older points. We do not send reminders before points expire. Your Points History page shows your recorded batches and their expiry dates.
7. Points earned before this update. Balances held before this programme update have been placed into batches using the dates on which the points were originally credited, where those dates can be established from our records. Any part of a balance whose original earning date cannot be established has been placed in a batch dated on the date that balance was moved into a points batch, and it expires on the same basis as other points (section 6), counted from that date.
8. Cancellations and returns.
• If an order is cancelled, points you redeemed on it are returned to the batches they came from, keeping their original expiry dates. Points whose batch has already expired are returned and then expire again immediately. For orders placed before this programme update, the original batch cannot be identified, so redeemed points returned on cancellation are placed in a new batch dated on the day they are returned, which expires on the same basis as other points (section 6).
• Points earned on a cancelled order are not credited or, if already credited, are reversed.
• If part of an order is returned and refunded, the points for that order are reduced in proportion to the refunded product value compared with the order's eligible product value (after applicable discounts), based on the refund amounts we record. Several partial returns are combined, and the total reduction never exceeds the points earned on the order.
• When points are reversed, they are taken from your available points. If you do not have enough available points (for example, because you have already used them), your available points are reduced to zero and the part that could not be recovered is recorded as "points owed". Your available points never fall below zero.
• Points owed are recovered only from points credited to you in future: eligible order points, referral and review rewards, in-store points and points we add manually. Redeemed points returned to you when an order is cancelled are not used to settle points owed.
9. Referral rewards. When a new customer signs up using your referral link, you receive 100 points and the new customer receives 50 points after the new customer's first qualifying order has been delivered, its return period has ended and no return request for it is still open. The reward is given once per referred customer.
• If that order is cancelled, both referral rewards are reversed automatically, and the referred customer can qualify again through a later qualifying order.
• If the order's items are returned and refunded without the order being cancelled, or a referral is found not to be genuine, the referral rewards are not reversed automatically; we may review the referral and adjust or reverse the referral points manually. A manual adjustment in these cases does not make the referred customer eligible to qualify again.
• Referral rewards are intended for genuinely new customers. Self-referrals, multiple accounts for the same person and other misuse are not eligible. We do not automatically detect these; eligibility may be reviewed by our team.
10. Review rewards. You can earn 50 points for a genuine review of a product you purchased, once the review is approved by our team, up to a maximum of 50 review points per order. Review points are credited on approval as their own batch and expire on the same basis as other points (section 6). They are reversed if the review is deleted under our review guidelines. They are not reversed merely because the order is later cancelled or its items are returned.
11. Point adjustments. We may correct a points balance that is wrong because of a system error, fraud, misuse or a reversed transaction. Each manual adjustment is recorded with a reason and shown in your Points History. Points we add manually expire on the same basis as other points (section 6). A deduction never takes your available balance below zero.
12. Blocked and deleted accounts. While an account is blocked, it cannot be used to sign in or redeem points. Its points stay on the account and continue to expire on their normal dates, and eligible pending points may still be credited. If the account is unblocked, only available, unexpired points can be used. There is no self-service option to delete an account. You can ask us to delete your account, or for other privacy help, by emailing info@mittalcollections.com from your registered email address (see our Privacy Policy). We review each request. Where we must keep records such as orders, payments, referrals or loyalty points for legal, accounting or dispute purposes, we keep those records, and the account itself may not be deleted while they are required; we will tell you what we can remove. If an account is deleted, its points and points history are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
13. Changes to the programme. We may change the programme, including how points are earned or redeemed, by publishing the change on this page at least 30 days before it takes effect, together with the date it takes effect. Each batch of points already credited keeps its assigned expiry date. A change to the redemption value of points or to the redemption limit applies to all points, including points you already hold, from the stated effective date; the expiry date of each batch does not change. If we decide to end the programme, we will announce it on this page. You will be able to redeem your available points for 90 days after the date of that announcement (points whose own expiry date falls earlier still expire on that date); any points remaining after those 90 days will lapse. Without notice, we may only:
(a) Where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse of the programme on a specific account, we may suspend, adjust or reverse points on that account, where permitted by law and only to the extent necessary.
(b) make a change that the law requires, from the date the law requires it. All other programme-wide changes follow the 30-day notice above.
14. Points History. Your account's Points History page shows your available and pending points, your recorded batches with their expiry dates, and your points activity.
15. Questions and complaints. For any question or complaint about your points, please contact us through our Contact Us page (https://www.mittalcollections.com/contact). Nothing in these terms affects your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
